City of Banning

Funding available through the City of Banning Housing Authority and Administered by the Riverside Housing Development Corporation (RHDC). 


Exterior Rehabilitation Grant (up to $10,000.00)
The Housing Exterior Rehabilitation Grant program helps low-and moderate income people rehabilitate their homes located within the city limits of Banning.

The Grant program provides grants of up to $10,000 per property on a first-come, first-served basis to homeowners occupying single-family homes. The grant funding is limited to exterior work and includes safety and code violations.

Only applicants with household incomes at or below 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) are eligible for the Exterior Grant Program.

The homeowner will be required to sign a Maintenance Agreement Covenant that requires them to maintain the property for at least (1) year following the completion of work.

·        Concrete flatwork

·        Garage door replacement
·        Front yard wrought iron, vinyl, wood or block fencing
